Women In Bio's mentoring programs support women in various stages of their career and personal development. Many chapters have implemented and continue to develop exciting new programs that will grow within the Women In Bio community. Our current programs include:
WIB Entrepreneur Center
The WIB Entrepreneur Center is dedicated to supporting female founders from early start-up to later project stages of their life science companies through peer to peer interactions, educational programs, and resources as well as fundraising support.
Founders forums, peer groups, pitch events, and national webinars dedicated to the needs of early-stage and seed-stage startups, are just a few of the resources available to WIB’s Entrepreneur community.

Mentorship, Advisors, Peers, and Sponsorship (MAPS) Groups
MAPS Groups are local informal meetings of six to ten women who have an interest in discussing topics of common professional and personal interest. Topics range from career planning, work/life balance to raising capital. Learn more and apply here.
Many Women In Bio members are passionate about supporting the next generation of women in the sciences as they complete graduate school and postdoctoral fellowships and embark on their careers. The MAPS-University outreach programs bring together current graduate students and postdocs with WIB members in an informal setting at local universities. Learn more and apply here.
1:1 Mentoring Program
Our latest program that is in development is the 1:1 Mentoring Program. This program caters to members who range from students to all stages within their careers who are looking to develop the 1:1 Mentor/Mentee relationship. If you are interested in becoming involved, find more details here.
