MAPs (Mentors, Advisors, and Peers) Groups are local informal meetings of six to ten women who have an interest in discussing topics of common professional interest.
Topics may include:
- career planning
- transitioning careers
- maintaining a work/life balance
- managing a team/department
- leading/running a company
- raising capital
Our program strives to bring together people in various stages of their career, who are on different paths, and with a range of backgrounds in a professional yet social atmosphere. Current members enjoy the program for the “diversity of viewpoints and experiences” and have said they enjoy the opportunity to “share experiences and give advice” on everything from personal challenges to professional topics.

What kind of events do you hold?
MAPs Peer Group meetings are self-directed, with the group deciding when, where, and how often to meet. Some groups may decide to meet over breakfast or lunch, others may meet in the evenings or for dinner or wine tastings. Ultimately, every MAPs Group will develop its own character that reflects its members' personalities, interests, goals and schedules.
How can I get involved?
The first step is to contact your local chapter to inquire about their MAPs programming.
Many chapters will use a brief questionnaire to place you in a MAPs Group based on your professional interests, experience and schedule/location preferences.
