BIO is the world's largest trade association representing all sectors of the biotech industry including companies, universities, government and non-profit organizations. Women In Bio has a long-standing alliance with BIO and holds its annual celebration at the BIO International Convention each year. WIB also is an exhibitor and holds Meetups at the BIO convention, which serves as a key venue for people around the country and the world to get together, expand their network and benefit from both organizations.

WIB Capital Region is partnering with BIOBuzz. For over 4 years BioBuzz has been hosting the community at monthly networking events and social gatherings. BioBuzz is working to build a stronger community by bringing the biotech workforce out of the offices and labs to culture relationships, instead of cells. By building a stronger social community we will enhance business and job opportunities for everyone in the region. Women In Bio-Capital Region chapter will partner with BioBuzz to help promote each other's events that will further strengthen the local biotech community.
