In collaboration with the Parenteral Drug Association - Pacific Northwest Chapter (PDA PNW), WIB-Seattle will be hosting a dinner and discussion panel, featuring women leaders in the bio industry. These speakers were chosen to represent a broad range of unique perspectives on the biotechnology and biopharma world.

The panel will take questions from the audience and questions may be submitted in advance to SeattlePrograms@womeninbio.org

This event will include a buffet-style semi-formal dinner.

Representatives from our sponsors will be available to speak about their open career opportunities and products.

Speaker Bios 

Anna Gilbert
Director, BioProcess Technology at BDO

Anna Gilbert has over 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Biotechnology, with the last 10 years focused on cell and gene therapy. Anna has provided compliance and program oversight in the protein world ranging from cell banking to bulk product, filled product, and testing.

Lisa Smith
QRM Leader, Partner Therapeutics

Lisa Smith is a Quality Risk Management Leader with Partner Therapeutics, which specializes in biologic oncology drugs. Lisa has over 30 years of management experience in applying quality improvement tools, and most recently Risk Management, in manufacturing and laboratory operations.

Kaye D. Reiter, Ph.D., JD
General Counsel for Pluristyx, Inc.

Kaye D. Reiter, Ph.D., JD has over 10 years of biotech law experience, counseling pharmaceutical companies and academic and non-profit institutions. She has substantial experience in preparing patent landscape, freedom to operate, and commercialization analyses; assessing intellectual property (IP); identifying strategic partners for growth and negotiating agreements that may develop from those activities.




Amber Randall
Senior Manager of Data Analytics at SCHARP 

Amber Randall, MSPH has spent the past 20 years exploring the breadth of clinical research and development activities.  Her career began at the bench defining parasitic drug and vaccine targets, exploring global public health, and moved on to clinical trials data management and statistical programming.  She has spent the past decade leading statistical programming and analytics teams in support of clinical research in a broad range of disease areas and in the development and application of new standards and best practices.
