How can improv skills enhance your ability to communicate off stage? Join WIB and &Beyond at Wigle Whiskey to learn how to use improv skills to help us communicate our message more clearly with people who don't share our expertise at networking events, conventions, or job interviews. Guest speaker Andrea Flack-Wetherald will present an introductory talk about how to harness the five core improv skills to improve our real-life stage presence, followed by improv activities that are designed specifically to help draw out your natural stage presence abilities (eg: listening, confidence, openness, authenticity, and adaptability). By the end of these activities, you’ll be warmed up and ready to make meaningful connections with anyone in the room! All WIB-Pittsburgh members may bring a guests at member pricing. Light food and refreshments will be provided. Follow #WIBPgh and #WIBPghCareers on Twitter for updates and more information!

Andrea Flack-Wetherald uses improv to help individual people navigate career transition, and to help companies create cultures that don't unintentionally push away their best employees. She uses improv to teach her clients how to communicate, collaborate and handle confrontation at the caliber of their intention. When people know how to present their idea with confidence in a way that honors them AND honors their scene partner - really good things happen.
