It’s no surprise that women are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease. It was previously attributed to the fact that women live longer than men. However, as scientists look into the increased risk of Alzheimer’s in women, they are discovering there may be other contributing factors to the disease beyond longevity. Our panel will focus on the recent research data surrounding Alzheimer Disease in women. We will also focus on caregiving, women, and the economic costs.
