Join us for our 2018 Networking Across MAPs Social to learn more about our MAPs (Mentors, Advisors, and Peers) program and meet MAPs members outside of your peer group. We will give you a brief overview of our MAPs program before starting you off with a formal networking activity that will allow you to meet as many attendees as possible. We will break to hear from Tara Hamilton, Ph.D., about the NC BioNetwork courses and certificate programs that provide industry-current, affordable training to advance your skills and knowledge, as well as support your field or career transition. Tara will provide handouts with more information, and she’ll be available during the networking activities. We will end the event with informal, open networking to enable you to make deeper connections with people you briefly met earlier in the evening.
Tara Hamilton, Ph.D. (University of Kentucky, Biochemistry), is an Aseptic Processing Instructor with NC BioNetwork, a state-wide, community college system program that provides biomanufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and natural products training to industry-bound students or custom courses for companies' employees.
