This WIB-San Francisco Bay Area Young Women In Bio (YWIB-SF) networking event gives young women the chance to directly interact with women scientists from various bioscience organizations. Students will hear about the diverse roles that these scientists fill, what experiences influenced them the most, and what aspect of their work is most rewarding to them. Students will then get to ask questions and discuss their own skills and interests with several of the women in small groups or individually. This will give students the opportunity to practice networking in a relaxed, friendly setting!
If you are under 18 years of age, please complete this Permission Form (YWIB permission forms) and have a parent or guardian sign. You may bring a copy of this to the event or give it to your teacher in advance.
