Maura Kahn, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing at Noxilizer, will kick-off the event as a prominent leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare space. We’ll also hear from Managing Partner and Principal at Nimbus Search Partners, Kunal Chadha, as he discusses the male perspective on negotiation and identifies some common differentiators.
Maura O. Kahn:
Maura serves as the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing at Noxilizer and has over 20 years of health care experience. She joined the company in February 2008. In addition to her Business Development and Marketing responsibilities, she oversees Sales, Customer and Technical Service and has raised money from angel and venture capital investors. Prior to Noxilizer, Maura was Senior Director of Marketing at MedImmune, responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy and plan for Synagis. This franchise represented over 70% of total revenue for the company. Maura spent nine years at Eli Lilly and Company in US Diabetes Marketing, Sales Management, Business Development and Global New Product Planning. She was a member of the US Humalog launch team, led the US launch of the Humulin/Humalog Pen and initiated the first ever direct-to-consumer campaign at Lilly. She was a member of the deal teams in Lilly’s successful negotiations with Takeda for Actos and Amylin for Byetta. She began her career at Targeted Communications and The RTC Group. Her clients included political candidates, trade associations and Fortune 500 companies.
She is a board member of the East Coast Advisory Board for the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Ms. Kahn received her B.A. in Political Science and History from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana and her M.B.A. in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
Maura lives in Washington, DC with her two dogs, Belle and Topper.
Kunal is Managing Partner and Principal at Nimbus Search Partners. He has over twenty years of experience within Human Resources specializing in Talent Acquisition.
Most recently he was Executive Director for Talent Acquisition for The George Washington University overseeing the strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives, including management of the complete life cycle recruitment process, executive search and candidate sourcing and assessment.
Prior to this, he was Head of Strategic Staffing for Human Genome Sciences where he helped build the team for the company’s commercial business unit, including marketing leadership, sales team as well as the R&D organization. He helped the ramp up and hiring of the company’s specialty sales force within a period of 4 months. Mr. Chadha was awarded the President’s award for his contribution.
His previous experience was with Heidrick & Struggles, Booz Allen Hamilton, BioReliance, Celera Genomics, and Freddie Mac.
