Healthcare Policy Panel Considers "Repeal, Replace, Revise,” January 24, 2017
Kicking off 2017, our first event of the year on January 24, 2017, drew an enormous, eager, and inquisitive crowd that came out to hear our expert panel discuss what may be on the horizon for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) under the Trump administration. Rumblings of “repeal, replace, revise” have been filling the political corridors, and the industry panel weighed in on how that might translate and impact on various stakeholders.
WIB-Chicago Chapter Chair, Dima Elissa, welcomed an audience of over 80 event attendees and quickly transitioned to the highly anticipated event topic.

The panelists represented different stakeholders in the ACA chain and agreed that, while they anticipate major change, the shape, pace, and timing of that change is likely to fluctuate as the new administration gets settled and begins prioritization of their agenda. There was a robust Q&A session that lasted over 30 minutes.
The panel discussion and Q&A session were marked by a lively exchange of ideas.
WIB-Chicago thanks it's sponsor for this event, MATTER, and the panelists for the lively and informative discussion.
