SmartAccelerator Program for Bio executives

smartacceleratorSM is a program designed to accelerate the growth and development of high tech startup companies. The program provides training, networking, introductions to funding sources, and technical assistance to CEOs and their management teams.

Getting Revenue: Your Marketing and Sales Programs Luncheon Panel featuring Ed Rudnic, President and CEO of Advancis Pharmaceuticals, Rachel King, President of GlycoMimetics, and Paul Silber, President of InVitro Technologies.

Day 2: Accelerating Funding and Organizing Your Business
Organizing and Resourcing Your Business
Financing a Bio Tech Business Luncheon Panel featuring Wei-wu He, General Partner, Emerging Technology Partners, LLC and Dr. Michael Strauss, Angel Invester and CEO of Naviscan PET Systems.

Day 3: Skills in Presenting Business Plans to Investors
This module will assist you in refining your presentation to investors and intial customers, and introduces you to a wide range of investors. Workshop Leader: Dr. John Holaday, founder of EntreMed, Inc., co-founder of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp., and founder of MaxCyte, Inc. Over the past 15 years, John has raised over $300M in private and public rounds of financing for these companies. He holds over 30 U.S. patents, has published over 200 scientific articles and reviews, and has edited 5 books.
