You may have heard the terms mentor, advisor, and sponsor, but may not realize the subtle, yet highly impactful difference that each type of connection can have on long-term career development. Join us for our inaugural “Lessons in Leadership Series” on Tuesday, September 19, as Joanna Engelke, Managing Director, Halloran Consulting Group discusses the roles of mentors, advisors, and sponsors and how they have fostered her career.
Prior to joining Halloran Group, Joanna was SVP of Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Boston Scientific Corporation. During her tenure, she held various leadership positions after successfully leading one of the largest company-wide change programs undertaken by the company. She also led the Corporate Marketing Strategy department at BSC and ran project management for the R&D unit that developed Boston Scientific’s first drug-eluting stent.
