WIB-San Francisco YWIB Presents: "Spring into STEM - Drug Development from Concept to Clinic"

WIB-San Francisco YWIB is pleased to work with Pfizer Center for Therapeutic Innovation and Pfizer Oncology to host a Spring Into STEM event for girls in grades 9-12. The students will participate in a panel discussion led by volunteers from Pfizer, who will share their experience of bringing a pharmaceutical drug from concept through early development and onto clinical trials. The panel will be followed by breakout discussion groups and hands-on science demonstrations and activities.

Note on event location: The event venue is located ?at 230 E. Grand Avenue in the Rinat Neuroscience Corporation Building, Pfizer's South San Francisco R&D site. Please follow signs for Rinat. The building is in the same complex as Exelixis; when you park in front of the complex, Rinat will be the entrance to the left, and Exelixis is in the building to the right. There will be a sign on the door with the YWIB logo to help guide you.
