WOMEN IN BIO  |  CHAPTERS

Women In Bio is teaming up with regional and global life science industry leaders to establish new WIB chapters in the U.S. and around the world. Since the establishment of WIB’s national chapter in 2001 encompassing the Baltimore-Washington-Northern Virginia area, WIB’s mission has been to foster women entrepreneurs and executives in building successful businesses in the biotechnology and life sciences industry.  Over the past ten years, WIB has experienced tremendous growth not only through its membership, but also through the launch of new chapters.  WIB now has chapters in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina, Chicago, IL, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, and Washington, DC and most recently, WIB established its first international chapter in Mumbai, India.  WIB is poised for continued growth throughout the U.S. and internationally and expects to launch other chapters soon.

This exponential growth further symbolizes the importance of fostering and supporting the dynamic women in the biotechnology and life sciences industry on a global scale.  WIB’s impressive chapter roster is a testimony to its mission and the dedication and focus of its members.

As a non-profit, volunteer organization, WIB would not be able to offer its members the exceptional networking, program and educational opportunities without the generous support of its sponsors.  Thank you to our sponsors, BIO, WilmerHale, and MedImmune, for their generous contributions to the Women In Bio.
